i was BORN in Kalamazoo. went up there a couple years ago to check out the house i lived in when i was a kid.

too bad we don't have our smart yet, i think we would take you up on the invite!!!

thanks "SharonRB" but didn't really 'plan in advance' for that. with all the flooding and stuff we've had around here, we really need to 'clean up' the yard this weekend.

but thanks for the invite and maybe the next time you Wolverines meet in Kalamazoo, we'll be able to join you.

Going to one of these events can be dangerous!

A friend came out to a meet up well before they were due to get their car (about a year before!) and after the meet they determined to buy an orphan. Well, less than a month later they had their orphan and are still going to buy the original reservation so they both (husband and wife) will have their own smart cars!

i can see your point! my wife's not totally 'on board' with this smart car thing yet and i'm hoping that if i get her around a group of smart car owners, that she may get the 'bug' like i did.

as you have probably seen, SCI is throwing a party for the "1st One Hundred Owners" delivered from Indy. they're meeting at the dealership so i'm hoping that she and i can get up there and take some pics, rub some elbows, kiss some babys....whatever, and see if she may be more open to one for her as well as myself.
