Indiana Smarties requested

I just wanted to throw this out there for everyones consideration. I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, and he is putting on a car show May 16th to benefit Relay for Life(cancer research). He asked if the members of SIN would be interested in attending. Registration will be $5, and there will be door prizes, I guess he has donations from a few local businesses, but also has donations from Jegs and Summit racing. These items obviously won't work for our smarts, but I know several people who have other "hobby cars" besides their smarts.
I don't have all the details yet, but I believe it is going to be in Auburn, IN, and he will set aside space for us if he knows how many are coming. The flyers are supposed to be done by the end of the week, and I'll try and scan one in and post the details as soon as he gets me a copy.

What do you guys think? Anybody interested?

Just a thought; if enough smarts will be there smartmadness, breathless performance, etc. might be interested in sponsoring.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have also posted this on the SIN website. If we can get 10-12, I'll contact a couple of supporting vendors and see what they say.

Jwright, Auburn isn't far from Ohio, what about getting some Buckeye's involved?

I'll tentatively throw my name in to attend. Can we attend the Auburn-Cord Museum too? Never been.....

Looks like a busy week for SIN, if we get the IMS deal put together on May 20th as well! Oh well, the more the merrier!!!!

I found out today, that the show is going to be at Dekalb High School. Panda, the ACD Museum is about 3 miles straight south of the high school on the same street( IN 427). High School is on the North side of town, ACD museum is on the South. Will be a piece of cake to find. They are open 9-5 everyday. My friend said the posters were being printed today, and he was going to e-mail me the electonic version so I can pass it on to everyone.

I see that he wants entries by May1st, but I don't see where to sent the $5.00. Should I just call and ask or can someone post the entry address?
