Indiana "Smarties" Sightings.....

Oh yeah I almost forgot... I got a report of a "Sighting" randomly at a Huck's gas station in Farmer City, IL on my way back from the Midwest Smart Car Rally. An older gentleman told me he saw a diesel smart staying at a hotel down the road. He also said he was on his way down to Florida. I asked him if it was kinda light green and with a sun decal on it. I believe he confirmed it was... so basically that one guy from Ontario, Canada in his 450 cdi stop in the small town of Farmer City, IL.

I made a run to Indy today, and ended up seeing 3 smarts out in the wild. 1st was a bumble bee headed south on 37 around Mooresville, 2nd was a black/white headed north on 37 when I was coming home, It was at Bloomington, 3rd was just 2 miles from home, A red/black cabrio turned off 50 onto 446. I always see smarts when I'm in the mini or truck.
There is now 2 for sale in Bloomington, Indiana Auto sales has a black/black cabrio, and Blands auto has a red/black passion coupe.

I think you saw FIVE today! You forgot about the two White/Black Passions in GREENWOOD!!!

Sat morning North Lebanon St. Lebanon, IN in my Black/silver saw White/ Black north bound. We both waved like crazy fools.

Russiaville, Indiana at 7pm yesterdy, a blue/silver ragtop wife had camera sorry. Also saw a blue and silver at Bob Evans in Kokomo Saturday night about 8pm, talked with the handlers gave them our "official" smart car club business card. Have a picture I will post asap as proof

06/20/2009 7pmish at Kokomo Bob Evans, saw the blue and silver passion - notice the bumblefle in the background. Gave them our card, hopefully they will join us here

I forgot to post this earlier, but last Saturday, I saw a red/silver passion on the West side of Fort Wayne on Bass Road, we we're in the wifes van, so they had no idea we were smarties too!
