Saturday (8/8) early AM, a black/black passed my friend & I on northbound 465 on the east side of Indy - my friend was driving her nondescript black Ford 500, so we probably blended in with all the other traffic. We just laughed because we had been talking about my car....

My usual weekend stay in Detroit was extended (due to an emergency appendectomy on Sunday at 5am) so, my boyfriend was taking me out to get some fresh air and ice cream and I saw a yellow/black and a red/black this afternoon in Royal Oak, MI

Not sure if the yellow/black owners saw us, but the red/black owner did because I was waving like an idiot!!!

My wife is a 'non poster' on this forum. Does that make her a 'lurker'?

Anyway, when out running errands the other day, she saw TWO smarts. The first time she has ever seen two in the wild on one day, except at meets of course. One was a Yellow/Black and the other was one like ours....a White/Black one.

Since she didn't post it, I did. There ya go Sweetie!

There is a black/black smartie for sale at a used car dealership in Bloomington, I don't think it's the "Allstar" as they have a web site that lists their inventory. Why used car dealers are RIGHT NEXT DOOR to each other, I dunno

I saw 30+ at Poppleton Park just outside of Birmingham, MI yesterday!

I met up with the sMUG group for the Woodward Dream Cruise, we got mixed responses, including some idiot jumping in front of my car and not letting me drive in the cruise specific lane. I just leapfrogged him and continued on my happy way

Dave Shembri was really impressed with my paint job

My boyfriend and I ended up leaving early because I was hurting pretty bad, still recovering from my surgery last weekend.

Did anyone happen to spot my Blue/Black smart on the back of a flatbed on it's way to the dealership Friday?

The weekend before, I was cleaning the smart out in my garage, getting it ready for a mad dash down to Tulsa and back. I hadn't been driving the car much the last week or so. Anyway, I moved it around in the garage by hand with the transmission in N. Moved it, vacuumed some more, then decided to drive it out of the garage to get better access to the passenger side.

That's when I got the dreaded "3 bars of death", again. Two times before I was able to retrain the tranny. Not this time.

So the friendly guys in the tow truck carted my car off to the shop.

Glad I still have under 20K on the odo and less than two years on the clock.

Just got a call from Joe. He said they already replaced the shift module (or assembly or whatever). I asked if they kept them on hand because it's such a common problem. He said they keep a couple around....

All done. Now I just have to figure out how to go get it.
