I dont know how the timing on all this will work out but based on this thread here's an idea. Jwight from Kettering, OH meet up with Jetfuel and possibly us in Indy then we all head towards 39 via 74. Along the way maybe Roetcr01 from Fort Wayne, IN meet up with EinsteinsMommy near Argos, IN and proceed towards 39, unless she is planning to take 65 up. Also Sharkdog1986 from Iowa City, IA heads East towards 39. We all could meet either at one point or multiple points along 39 and continue up to the Dells. Just a general idea and I have no idea how any of the timing would work out, especially since I am usually running behind all the time somehow. Maybe have times to say "Oh well lets go without them" I just dont want to hold anyone back. I have GPS, Maps, a list of all rest areas along the way, and a good sense of direction and will get there when I get there. Lets digest it and see what comes from this...

Sounds like a (very loose) plan. I may stay in Indy the night before just to avoid leaving Dayton in the middle of the night to meet up with the Indy guys. Sure would be nice to coordinate all the groups' arrivals in the Dells and do one big cruise into the town when we get there.

After the past 4 days I am so ready to pick a different route other than 65 to go up! I'm up for meeting somewhere along 39. I too have GPS but haven't figured it out yet...I will soon though!

I'm coming up from St. Louis. 55 to 39. If someone posts a place along with a time window, I am sure I can hit it and join the "convoy".
It is not too early to work the schedule for all these various starting points. Need to figure what time we should arrive in Wisconsin Dells and work back from there - what time do we need to leave from a central point on I-39, etc.
Hey folks, knowing where those rest areas are on 39, you are not going to be able to use them as a place for a group meeting with those from outside Indiana. from: IL-38/E IL Route 38 to: WI-13 - Google Maps
That's the Basic path from Rochelle in IL on 39. It can catch the Iowa, rural IL and St Louis folks. It's listed as 2 hr 20 min so plan on 3 hrs for weekend traffic that will hit after Rockford. Assuming an atempted arrival at 4:30 - 5:00 you should back up to Rochelle at 2:30 at the Petro, gas - Google Maps. Top off there and you should have a 1/2 tank left at the Dells. We don't want anyone going dry in traffic.
How many smarts will fit in a truck wash?
