Man! I would love hear about smartville, and what is recommended to keep our smarts going for the long haul, but unfortunately I have to work that weekend, so a visit to Indy is out of the question.

Panda will you take some notes for me about the engine and transmission section... plus is the Update or Upgrade just reprogramming the transmission to act like the 2009 models with the different shifting points and ability to engage Manual mode from the paddle shifters?

You're only as old as you think you are. My grandmother just turned 81 in April and got laid off of her 40hr/wk job in Jan. She's going nuts and trying to find a new job!

As for the CRS, I too suffer from it and I'm only 23

OOPS!

boy, do I feel like a dumb Panda........after posting the 'reminder' about Tech Talk so everyone would remember, I FORGOT! Right in the middle of washing my smart it came to me....TODAY was TECH TALK! Of course by then it was already 11:30. Had too many things on my plate this weekend and I guess that one 'fell off'.

I DO hope that they consider shortening the length of their meeting. It seems to be getting longer and longer and while it's great information and a great opportunity to meet other smart owners, THREE HOURS is a bit too long. Maybe an hour or hour and a half tops for us anyway. Again, just me, but I would like to see Tech Talk concentrate on the cars and car related issues, including wraps and what's new at smart center Indianapolis.

Talking about other unrelated items at Tech Talk is kind of a waste of my time and sometimes I feel like SCI has forgotten that OUR time is valuable too.

Oh, and Applebys always brings great eats! I guess I missed out on that too......that makes Panda sad.

Sorry I missed everyone. I was looking forward to seeing 'Chief' and some of you others that didn't go to 'The Dells', but maybe next month. Hope everyone enjoyed today and maybe SOMEONE that attended will post something about today's talk.

Yea, I missed you too Panda

You're right about it getting long though. I too would like to see more concentration on the car. Today they had some people there talking about a smart "house" What does THAT have to do with our cars ?

Maybe we'll catch you next time
