The easiest install possible - having Steven do it while you get to stand around and drink coffee. Great opportunity and I can't thank Steven enough for making the trip to the Dells, camping out next to the train tracks and generally roughing it so we could get our installs done by the Pro from Dover (well, OK, British Columbia.)

Having the CC made the 9 hour drive back to Ohio much more enjoyable (although I wish it had extra buttons and switches so I could feel like I was more "in the loop.")

I have the 451 and LED. Both work great. I just went from Salem, OR to The Dalles, OR (320 mile rt) and it worked flawless. 40 MPG with AC on and taking the Columbia River scenic route.

The video found in this thread was shot of Suze's not-yet-pink Zippy with me, her, and a friend of mine milling around with my cheap photo camera in video mode. It was jediknight36 who massaged the video down to a reasonable presentation from my raw footage.

I really should get written instructions together, too.

Part of the question is whether I want to actively recruit new customers since my member/vendor schism is still up in the air.

What's your question, shadowcameleon? There's an LED in the replacement wiper stalk end-piece you see installed in chief tmc's picture. The "John_H's LED" he refers to is a kit to tap into the Area451 cable near the stalk, snipping out the existing LED functionality and transferring it to a small board installed in the instrument cluster behind the cruise control icon that already exist in the cluster, just with no LED behind it (which is why the little board with LED is needed).

We who have the Area451s love 'em.
