The car is great! Having a ball

Still on my first tank from the dealer (just about gone). Haven't really had much time to put many miles on it, BUT, I AM driving it !! Been running it "through the gears" and it sure is sweet. Right now about 60% auto and 40% manual. Can't believe how "smooth" she shifts It's hard to believe it will get even better

I know you're loving yours too! This thing is just SOOOOO much fun to drive

Dude something else! Last night I was getting stuff out of my old Shadow and needed a flashlight. I was waiting for my sister to showup and so I charged my air compressor/flashlight through the cig lighter. This air compressor charges with AC or DC and has a rechargeable battery pack built in. My sister shows up and I turn off my Smart and get out. And then I realize the keys are in my hand and the car is still running. I put the keys back in and try different positions and putting it into gear, but nothing would make it shutoff. Finally I think about it and realize the only thing different is the air compressor charging, so I unplug it from the cig lighter while the key is in the off position and the car immediately turns off as I yank out the plug... Its not so much a problem, but definitely odd and scared the stuff out of me.

Oh, it's MARCH 7th. Duh. I thought it was tomorrow. I'm definitely out of the loop. Glad that both dates happen to be a Saturday.

You know, it would be cool if there was a computer upgrade for the '08s to be consistent with the '09. It'd be especially nice if they just went ahead and did the upgrade as a free service at this event! <-- wishful thinking.....

I think I can get my car out of the driveway by then. In fact, going to try here in about 5 minutes.

I hate to say it, but I'm not going to make it. I have the second surgery on my eye on March 6th and will probably be loopy and bruised pretty bad. Take pics for me!

I replied to Walters first email, asking for 'confirmation'. I think I'll call Joe as well, just to 'be sure'.....
