Guys, just got an email from Walter saying that Max was no longer with SCI and that he (Walter) is now the Brand Manager of SCI.
Don't know what happened, but Max always took care of my questions. Maybe not as promptly as I may like, but still.....he always took the time to help. I wish him well......and CONGRATS to Walter!

And I just raved about him when smart called for us on the post purchase survey....Well he's a smart guy so I'm sure he's of to bigger and better things...wish him all the luck!

Really? How long after your purchase did they call? I think the only call we got was from Hillary asking how we liked the car BEFORE we had actually taken delivery....OOPS!
I reread Walter's email and he IS the "Brand Manager" for SCI. I passed on my 'congrats' to him and wished him well.

I'm assuming this was for the '09 cabrio purchased on 26Dec08...and they just called this week. This was from Smart themselves and not SCI. SCI called a few days after delivery for a follow up. We did not get a survey call on our '08 purchased in May08.

I got the survey call from smartUSA about 2 weeks ago. I got the call from Hillary about a week after delivery and the call from smartUSA about two weeks after that!
I did get a call after I cancelled my reservation, they wanted to know why... I talked to the dealer when I got my Smart off Evilbay and I'm not sure Smart even knows I own it.
I spoke with Walter last week and he told me Max had taken another job outside the company.
For those of you who haven't had a chance to meet Walter he is an absolutely wonderful man and will answer any question you have to the best of his knowledge. He's very intelligent and enthusiastic!
