smart magnet

Is your car a magnet? Yesterday after work we stopped by Sears, parked in a row with no cars anywhere around (IU Spring break = empty shopping center), as we were getting out of the car a car pulls up behind us parks and the couple gets out one one each side looking the smart over, when we come out of the store there are cars all around us. There is plenty of empty parking closer to the store. We go to Best Buy then back to Sears. Once again no cars anywhere. We are in the store less than 10 minutes, and once again there are cars parked all around us.
It seems like we are a big magnet drawing the others towards us.

LOL! I definitely agree though, it is a magnet. Last week this SUV that was beside me was trying to get pictures of my smart while we were on the freeway...interesting, to say the least

Yeah, it gets particularly interesting when it's the driver of the SUV that's trying to take the pics. Especially when they're reaching & leaning over to shoot out of the passenger side window!

Welcome to the world of smart!! Ask your dealers for the fliers to hand out if you're pressed for time!

I've a habit of parking out away from other cars, when I had my Monte it kept me from getting dings in my doors. Now that I have the smart I still park out away from other cars but as you noted when I get back to my car there are ALWAYS others around.

The day after I got it, there was a woman waiting at the door of the store I was in, asking every person who left if that was their little car.

She was very impressed by the paddle shifters, as she had had surgery to her right wrist and couldn't use a shifter!
