SCI has a big sign on the front door inviting people to Sullivans steak house next Thursday for a "smartinis" event. Free drinks, steak(?) and smart test drives.
Loved the idea, and would love to come over. Too early, too far away, and during the week I tend to stay away from smartinis. I'm gonna pass, regrettably.
Looks like they plan on having semi regular get togethers. Wonder how many of their customers live 2 or so hours away like me that won't be able to take advantage. Too bad, so sad.
Unfortunately I won't be able to attend. My husband doesn't get off work until 5:30, putting him home at 6:00, then a 2 hour drive down. It's just not doable for us on a Thursday night! I hope everyone has a great time and please post pictures!

We found out this morning that Dale works a half day that day. (His boss picks one day a week to give each worker a half day!) If I I'm not a total wreck (my sister moving to Texas and she's supposed to leave Friday), then maybe we'll show up. I'd be a great way to distract myself!

There isnt much info - just 5-9 pm at sullivans steak house. They listed the restaurant phone number to make a reservation, but when I called, they told me we would be on the patio and would not need reservations.

guess that's where we differ....when it comes to "SCI", i assume NOTHING is free!!!!
I was down to SCI on Sat morning and chatted with Walter for a bit. The Smartini is simply a get together from what I gathered, I believe it's 'dutch treat'.
