Fairly new smart owner. I read the post and notice meets in northern Indiana. Wondering if anyone ever comes south to the French Lick area of southern Indiana.

First off, welcome to the world of smart. I am in Bedford, I get down your way in nice Motorcycle weather, but I don't know of any meets down there. Bloomington Smarties has had a few sunday meet up's, dinner and a drive in Bloomington, and I have heard of some held down in Louisville at Sam Swope. There was a little talk about having a run to French Lick / West Baden or Brown county but nothing ever happened. Be sure you sign up on SIN the Indiana group, a good way to meet and find some of the smart owners in your area.

What a great idea.....a meet at French Lick.

I hadn't thought of that....too bad someone didn't run with that suggestion earlier in the year.

Probably a little too late in the year to do something THIS year, but maybe next spring, April maybe?

May we have the meet at IMS and June next year is the smart Nationals in KC, so maybe April would work.

I'd be glad to work on that if I had some 'help' (wink, wink, nod, nod) from 'someone' in the area. Anyone care to volunteer?

Met a red and black smart on 337 just east of Orleans on sunday. Wasn't you was it?

'wildman' usually drives his smart as his wife has a Mini. Red and Black of course.

Someone else posted a sighting in that area over the weekend of a red/black one. Maybe he's really getting around down there.

Used to live in B-town myself and even in Mitchell MANY years ago.

btw...'wildman' is the one with the pony tail!

We are always looking for volunteers.

Seriously though, we have a very active group of smarties in the Northern 1/3 of the state. Smarties of Indiana is a voluntary group. You volunteer to host an event, an we will come.

I'm still looking for someone to volunteer to do a toys for tots event down your way, any takers?
