To host the next event! I have already put dibs in for April, either ACD museum or Kruse WWII victory museum, I have to contact both and see what dates are available.

Is everything you guys plan to do going to be 'up north'? (I now the ACD is up north and I would think anything with the name KRUSE would be as well) May I suggest that you should move the events around so that those of us in the central and southern part of the state don't have to drive 3+ hours all the time? Going to South Bend to see the Studebaker Museum was a great idea, but next month (this month?) how about doing something down south, or west. We have smart owners all over the state that would love to attend a meet but can't travel a couple hours to do so.
The way it works is you just pick a month and you host the event, do it in advance so that you dont have a conflict with another months event. Each person that is a member of the Indiana Chapter can host one in their local area and do what they want.
For example:
1. Oct 2008 met for breakfast and a car show in Plymouth, kind of north but not so much, no one went to anyones home, hosted by Macey
2. Nov 2008 a poker run from Frankfort, not in the north more central, no one came to my home, hosted by Missy
3. Nov 2008 went to the tank museum in Crawfordsville, not in the north but central, now in this instance we did go to the hosts home because he owns the museum
What I am getting at Big Panda is the only reason that the events have been up here is because we are the only ones that have planned the events. I would love to have an event elsewhere but people in the south half of the state are going to have to take the time, plan, host, and advertise an event. It could be something as simple as meeting for breakfast at your favorite non chain LOCAL resteraunt or an event for your favorite charity as our poker run was for the Frankfort (Clinton County) Boys and Girls Club. I have already started planning another poker run fundraiser for that....thinking maybe May or June.
That is why we made the list of members and their email addresses, so that not only could we list the event here and invite those that arent in our little group, but we could email each other with reminders of the events that have been posted

I'm NOT hosting an event atMY HOUSE! Besides, it's a little chilly for that this time of year.
