Like boilermaker said, it's not a big deal, contact your favorite local eatery, make sure they are will to feed all of us (usually 20-30 people) and plan to visit a local point-of-interest. Doesn't have to be anything real formal, just a chance for us smarties to get together. If the south is feeling left out, them step up and volunteer to host an event. I'd love to travel south for a get together, but since I live in the northern part of the state, I plan for the area I know. We are always open to suggestions, and we love volunteers!

Just a note of congratulations to all of the Indiana members on your successful events and for getting some press coverage.
As coordinator of Central Florida smarts I try to keep an eye out for groups having successful events.

Keep up the great work!

I can't speak for everyone up north, but I know at least a few of us would be more than happy to drive south for an event. We just NEED volunteers if you want something more centeral or southern. Every month except April and June are open for the year! Plan it around a car show or just for the heck of it, we don't care, but as of right now we go by volunteering!

As has been stated before, we northerners don't really know your areas like you do, so please, if you'd like something closer-put in a little effort for the club and plan it! I will be more than happy to put the word out and keep up tallys just as I did for this past meet!

Oh! For those of you who haven't seen or heard:

This is the OFFICIAL WEB SITE of the St. Patrick's Parade ... check it out!
http://www.indysportsfoundation.com/...indystpats.pdf

TUESDAY MARCH 17:

The festivities kick off early with the Greening of the Canal, presented by the Hoosier Lottery, at 6:30 a.m. There will be live entertainment, food and beverages, and prizes.

Stick around for the 29th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, presented by Cathedral High School, at 11:30 a.m. See bands and drill teams, floats, 'smart cars' & all the Irish organizations and family clans, schools, local dignitaries and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

From 10 a.m.-3 p.m., enjoy a parade tent party honoring the Irish Citizen of the Year with food, a beer garden and live Irish entertainment just north of Monument Circle. There is no charge to get in.
