"The Suds" in Greenwood Indiana

....is where we plan to be for awhile this afternoon.

We plan on getting there around 4:30-5:00pm today, have an ICE COLD ROOT BEER and a Coney Dog, and hang out and do some car and people watching. Lil Panda has been 'groomed'.

If you're a car nut, the best place to be is at "The Suds" on a Saturday afternoon/evening!

Great turnout at "The Suds" on Saturday night. No 'smarties' other than "Lil Panda"

We gots lots of looks and lots of questions. A group of Harley bikers were there and just kind of stared in disbelief, probably thinking 'How unsafe is THAT?' Well, MORE SAFE than a motorcycle, for sure!

Lots of VERY nice street machines, muscle cars, hot rods and a few tuners, including (if you can call them 'tuners') "LX Club" which consisted of several Dodge Magnums and a lone Charger......ALL VERY NICE!

As for the food; The root beer was cold, the coney was hot and the Root Beer Float 'Deer 1' had was icey.

All in all a nice, peaceful evening out in our smart.

I was wondering how it turned out, I was pretty busy all weekend, and didn't see your post until Sunday evening. Glad you had a good time, too bad you didn't get some more smarts there.

Why dont you set something up in early/middle October to go there, we would love to come. Septemeber is no good for most of us, I was looking at my calender and it looks like this:

9/7/2009 - Blueberry festival driving in a parade
09/12/2009 - Wasaw charity car show for a little kid who is sick
09/19/2009 - Final run trhough of Clinton County Boys and Girls Club poker run. Have to confirm streets and mark roads so no one gets lost ya know
09/26/2009 - 2nd annual Clinton County Boys and Girls Club Poker run

Sorry, I can't make the Poker run this year. Someone contacted wife a while back a ask her to drive it in their festival parade in OHIO somewhere.
