...forgot all about it...did show up for Walter to take a look at the bride's car and to my surprise they were in the middle of the tech talk...few familiar faces were there...also the guy from Ovations was showing their smart sound system...I'll have to say it did sound awesome...about 7500$ worht of "awesomeness"...
Guess now you can buy a 'smart sound system' for a mere $7,500! Hell, that's HALF of what I paid for my entire car!
Amen to that, I spent $40 on a pair of Kicker 6 1/2" two ways for my smart, and I am now a happy camper with my sound system. It makes all the difference in the world! I was considering upgrading my head unit, but these speakers make my radio 9 sound so good, I'll save my money for something else.
Well my talk is buried in the latest general message from SCI. In a nutshell I was hit in the rear by a new Nissan Maxima. I took off his bumper and grill little visible damage to me but lot of internal he punched out my muffler and it totaled $2000.00.SCI did great job working with me and other guys insurance.
Trip to Colorado in September and went up Pikes Peak with no problem. In fact the jeep in front of me was in my way. I am a big fan of the paddle shifters and I tend to drive the car hard. Still got 49 mpg in Illinois at 80 mph.
