I got the IPhone a few days before the price drop for my b-day,which is today, and listened to pandora(love it!) going to and returning from the mid-west rally over this past weekend.I have a love -hate relationship with it.I drop calls all the time even when talking to people on my family plan.Heck, my living room seems to be a "dead" zone!I am going to return it,cancel my plan and go back to T-Mobile this week.

Is this the Geek Zone? No Pre or the dreaded i stuff, but I was not a happy camper in the Dells this weekend - my "more bars anywhere" AT&T phone would not get a signal at the motel, even though I could throw a rock and hit a giant cell phone tower . Had to drive in to town to make calls - the only good news is I'm on a pay as you go plan so can switch with no penalty (I think - you never know what the fine print says.)
I just got the Samsung Eternity because my 5 year old Nokia 3100 kept turning itself off.
Wow... what technology these smart phones have. Now I can put the phone up front and watch TV while plugging in the earphones out connection to the radio in within the glove box. Unfortunately that goes against my principles and it won't ever happen.
My first TV, a handme down, was a large box PHILCO with a 14" B/W cathode ray tube with 44 tubes. It sucked about 450 watts.
Now a little phone has a TV built in. I'm just an old phfffd who's amazed.
I have until the 25th to return everything.I am going tomorrow morning to AT&T and giving them a piece of my mind for the price drop and crapp0y reception.
I had excellent service at the dells with the "NOW NETWORK" Sprint.
I've had sprint for about 2 years now, with an HTC Touch, been very pleased with the service, and can't wait to upgrade the phone, but won't probably be a PRE, thinking Touch Pro, or hopefully Touch HD
I have had the Treo 180,300,600,650,700 and 750. I have a SERO (Sprint) plan where I pay $31 a month for 500 minutes, unlimited data, unlimited text, free nights and weekends. That $31 includes taxes and the $7 monthly insurance. I would love to go to the pre but I would have to give up my current plan for one that costs twice as much a month. Can't do it, I'm too cheap. Besides, the pre doesn't have slingbox yet and some of the financial packages I use. It seems to be geared to contacts, facebook, twitter and other social websites and interfaces between them. I am going to wait a little longer. Just got off of TreoCentral.com five minutes ago.
