Ever want to send a message to fellow drivers, but just haven't come across the right bumper sticker that expresses exactly the wording you want?
I've been using an inexpensive plastic holder called a
BumperBanner to hold one-off quick bumper messages made on my printer. Trim your mesaage to size (3.5"x11"), slide it into the holder, and then slip on the endcaps to keep out water. It has a rugged clip that you can attach to your bumper, but I've just mounted mine inside the back window -- saves worrying about somebody detaching it and walking away with it.
Make your "banners" on regular paper using any publishing software, setting your printer for "landscape" mode and "fit to page."
Does anybody know what the Smart advertising display font is? It looks to me like it's from the Bauhaus family (Horatio Medium) with some tweaks to some of the letters. The left arm of the lower-case "t" is trimmed off, for example.
The image I used in the banner here is posted in my gallery here at SCOA.
