Mechanical bolt-on KERS hybrid for buses offers 30% fuel saving

It would be great if there was a smaller version of the mechanical bolt on for cars.

They have said all year it would'nt work on road cars, it has'nt really worked on the F1 cars, only McLaren have got it right, all the rest have more or less ditched it.
F1 have brought us, padddleshift, ABS, ESP and various other innovations, but they can keep KERS for me, I don't brake enough for it to be of benefit anyway, I use the downshift and chuck it into the bend method

Kimi Raikkonens win for Ferrari a few weeks ago used KERS, Ferrari and McLaren have made a lot of progress with the KERS system in racing this year.
