I have two Xgauge commands:

1. Fuel used per current trip
2. Milage per current trip

I also view the built-in gauges:

3. Instant milage
4. mph (since I look at the SG more than the actual speedo and since it is more accurate)

1. RPM - albeit delayed information.
2. Distance To Empty - x gauge setting for mileage left on current tank.
3. Average Miles per Gallon - x gauge setting for MPG for current tank.
4. Water temperature.

I finally read the back of the manual last Friday to set up the x gauge for #2 and #3.

My Scangauge has those preinstalled... maybe mine was made later and is more updated. Are there new XGauge commands for the smart in the last 2 months that anyone knows of?

Ah, I see now... Trip values are in the trip summary mode, not in a gauge. After reading the manual I see the XGauge mode allows you to add it as one of the four realtime gauges like RPMs and MPH. I have just been swapping between realtime (gauge) and summary (trip/tank) modes while driving... maybe using the XGauge mode is safer.

I'll try that this week, probably.

Has anyone tried the Instant Horsepower XGauge commands?

How come I can't get my xgauge command to work?

I read about it in the manual, but I need your expert help.

I'm trying to use my Avg MPG as a gauge.

I went into the Xgauge commands... picked "0" (which I think is the AVG MPG command), then I hit EDIT, then I put a "+04" in the upper left hand corner... for AVG MPG TANK" and I named it AVG.... but when I select AVG as a gauge, nothing comes up --- just the AVG with no number... what am I doing wrong?!?!
