Dagwodzz, don't forget your car comes with the same stuff under the passenger footwell.

Also I saw this same product at Target last evening for $19.99

Yep, I don't need two of them.

I don't have my car yet so I am unaware.

I picked one up for two reasons -

#1 --- Just in case - to save my factory slime. Dealer isn't a hop skip and a jump away.

#2 --- It was on clearance at Advanced Auto Parts for.........$1.50!!!!! Complete brand new sealed kit!

There's also the option of the Nealy kit if you don't want to invest in a spare and don't want to rely on the goo

That's what I got. I read the fine print on the goo... Slime says to use only under 45mph. Above that could unbalance the tire. I've experienced this with other spray-in goo kits. Plus, some of them will destroy the tire or TPMS. The Nealy kit requires some muscle and patience but is a permanent patch good enough for tractor or truck tires, and highway speeds actually help melt it into place.

Neither of these will help a sidewall puncture... you'd need a new tire anyway.
