Its here!!

Got the call from smart center Cincy today saying my little smartie has arrived! Just got off the phone with them, setting up payment options (hope I'm approved for a loan...) and arranging for pick up which, if everything goes well, will be tomorrow at 12!
I'm so excited!!!!!!!

The loan thing has me a bit worried. The dealer said that 5/3rd was the best to go through and that they require you make a minimum of $2,000 a month to get a loan. I make $1,100 a month. Will this keep me from getting my car? I'm thankfully not paying rent and have $6,000 ready to put down on my smart...any advice? I know I can afford payments, but if the bank doesnt think so...

Reservation date: 3/5/08
Confrimation date: 9/10/08
Hopeful pick up date: 2/26/09

If the dealer has financing approved (and you're happy with the rate) you'll be OK, especially with that down payment. Probably not enough time but shopping around at a couple of credit unions might give you a better loan rate. Either way, say hi to Charles and Nicole - we picked up our car this morning.
