Just Configured!!

Hey all!
I just got the email to configure today! That makes it just over half a year since I reserved. I expected to wait a few more months at the least! It'll be a 2009 in rally red, with the red interior. I'm so excited, I know this probably doesn't warrant it's own thread, but...excited brain = no common sense.
John, the next time there's a smart meet, I might actually have my REAL car, not the toy. Huzzah!!

You've waited long enough - good to see things are moving along. We went with rally red, with the black interior and silver Tridion. Do you have anything on the DDE yet?

Thanks! And nope, still nothing on the DDE, go figure. But maybe they'll keep going at full speed and I'll get my car in just a few months! I think the Rally red with black interior and silver tridion will look very sharp. How about you? Anything on the DDE or is Kettering a smartusa black hole too?

No, nothing on the DDE since we reserved; thought it might change once we configured but no go. Kettering is pretty much a black hole for most things.

I configured yesterday almost 6 months My DDE said March- may 09 before config. and today.

I hope that's about the amount of time I'll have to wait. I know it sounds odd wanting it to come later rather than sooner but...later means I'll have more money saved up. Congrats on configuring! Out of curiosities sake, what was your reservation #?

John at Easton called. I asked him a time line after config. he said 3-4 months. That could mean Merry Christmas for me...

My DDE just Moved OUT one month. Not sure if it is due to dealer change or not. Only time will tell. Or, it might be normal

They added them after I configured. So, I am guessing that I can just go down to the dealer if I really want them and have them update the ECU to turn on the low beams. I am guessing that is what they are doing from what I have been reading. If not, no worries here, I always run with my lights so that the idiots don't run into me.
