Just peeking in and seeing how much activity there is here on the Ohio forum. I see we just missed the annual drive last month. Maybe we can attend next year.
I should get the car next week. Then the fun begins!
Enjoy your smart. Even though you missed the annual Ohio drive you can still take part in OutSmarting The Dragon in August. Check out the thread here on SCOA or the OTD IV website: www.outsmartingthedragon.com.
There's also the Midwest Rally in Red Wing, MN in June.
There's a possibility April Fools V may be up your way next year....
Also a great meet coming up in Ontario the July 6th weekend - their annual Mystery Run (details on Club Smart Car). Several U.S. owners will be there so think about joining us.
We went back over to PA to pick up the car yesterday. What a nice day for a drive!
Surprisingly, it fits in the garage. Two cars, four scooters, and five bicycles make for close quarters. I need to do some rearranging! (Yes, I know the MG is dusty and needs cleaned. It has engine problems I haven't gotten to yet.)
The bracket was on there, but he didn't have a plate mounted. I haven't measured, but it doesn't look like the proper spacing for the holes in the license plate.

It's missing the plate that actually mounts the license plate; you can get them from GoMiniGo.com.
Thanks! I just measured, and it is the correct 7" spacing, so the license will mount right up to it. I sent an email to the previous owner asking if he had a mounting plate and linked to gominigo.com
