well, it is a ped/bike trail tunnel, and the lil' smarty, while small, is still a motor vehicle!! they even banned the amish buggies from it- imagine hitting a road apple in your inline skates- yuck. I can't to wait to see the looks on the amish when we zip down the township roads in the smart.

I'm completely lost on this one - what tunnel? Not very many Amish in the Dayton/Huber Heights part of Ohio.

I talked with Kevin Crosby the new smart sales manager at Germain. He said they'd be operational Feb 1. He also said that he just got the info on the dealer connect which is smart car's car tracking service His cell phone is 614.406.0183. He encouraged me to call him. I'm calling him tomorrow since he said he was just trying to log on to the dealer connect site and expected to get more information there.

In Coshocton, there is a section of canal with a working canal boat. This portion of the park is connected to the rest by a small tunnel under the highway. It looks just right for a smart sized vehicle. ;)
