Funny, I spoke to Nicole Reid two weeks ago and asked to be called when it would be opened. I never got a call. I called SmartUSA 1-800 and was told that I would be one of the first in Cincinnati to get an '09. I assume that all of the Smarts on the lot are '08s. Toxdan

I emailed for the grand opening and never heard back either, so far I am not impressed with the customer service experience.

Maybe their computers aren't yet connected. It happened to "my" Dealer when they tried to open: it took them about 3 weeks to get online. Try calling?

That's what I've tried.. still nothing. First I asked the receptionist. She knew nothing about it.. which was no surprise.. as Megan at Smart Center Easton didn't know anything when I asked her about it a few DAYS before the actual event when I was there having my best friend test drive a Fortwo.

When I called Smart Center Cinncinnati, she sent to the dealership's General Manager.. he knew NOTHING about it.. but he told me he would have Charles Cokely, the Smart brand manager call me. That was Friday. I'm still awaiting the call. Haven't received it... wait.. my phone is ringing.. darn.. it's not him.

To be fair, Charles has a lot on his plate now - new dealership, delivering cars, getting the service area finished, hooking up computers, etc. He'll let us know (by invitation) when the opening is scheduled; recommend we practice some patience and understanding in the meantime.

I also called today about the Grand Opening. The person who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about
