Just ordered Smart #2!

Placed a reservation today for Smart #2. We decided to get a silver/black cabrio this time. I'll get tired of my coupe in about 2 years and I think that is about how long it will take for the cabrio to arrive, lol.

I'm kicking myself for canceling my reservation once I got my chameleon pseudo-orphan. I shoulda waited to see what happened in the next year. Maybe I woulda needed 2 smarts.

Yeah, it's crazy to cancel an order regardless of your situation. Wait for the car, then sell it and make 7 grand. When you cancel your order you are allowing stupid dealers to give away orphans and "smart" dealers to mark up orphans or load them up with $10k worth of options. All you are doing by cancelling your order is throwing away thousands of dollars for yourself.

Just Checked and looks like I'm 7 months out for my second one. Will go for the new red.

I was planning on silver, but I might have to copy you and go with the red. What was the other new color?
Of course mine will be a 2010, so there is no telling what colors will be out then. I want something different than what i have so I am going with the cabrio with a black cell. Not sure on the exterior color. If all else fails I will confirm the silver. Hey P1nball, how long will it take smart to contact me to configure???
