Trip to Ashevile

Our trip to Asheville was great. While we were in Arden we noticed another SMART. It was Silver on Silver and was a business car for a computer store there. My wife and I stoped in and introduced oursevles and I swear we all could see the cars winking at each ohter. HAHAHAHA

The drive from Fayetteville was wonderful. We did not have any problems getting itno or driving around the mountains. I was ver impressed. Looks like the "drusing speed" for our car is anywhere between 70 and 75 MPH.

Once we got into the Pisga National Forest, the car did slow down a bit but what car does not slow down when going up a side of a mountain??? The transmision did act a little funny on the shifts going up a few times but I believe it was due to me not being used to the way the car shifts.

There were alot of looky looes on I 40 and alot of people congrigated around the car when we stoped. It was fun seeing peoples expresions when they were looking at it.

I Love this car!!!!!

It does better on the mountain roads after about 2000 miles AND you will learn what it needs to drive better. Mine spends 90% of it's life on mountain roads. It does seem that the car likes 70 mph on the interstate rather than 60 mph or so. Congrats!

Glad that you had a fun trip. The car will do much better as it breaks in. Will see you at Shatley Springs trip. Joel
