Woo Hoo! Picked up our Cabrio Friday - been a greet weekend so far...

This means we won't have to drive our Subaru to the next meet n great at Shatley Springs! Installed the Doug Thorley exhaust Saturday morning (really did make a difference on low-end torque).

Every place we've gone there's been at least one pause while explaining just what a "smart" car is.

Two questions: 1) What is the best source to buy a set of cocoa mats? 2) best location to buy the smart set belt/shoulder pads? Someone had mentioned a site on eBay but can't find them...

Thanks all. Great forum btw...

Owen & Shannon

BTW submitted our reservation on Sept 22 07

Not too bad - 10 months, 11 days... South Charlotte dealership was great too. Had to walk by that $134k MB convertible a couple times but other than that!!!

Met Joe in finance department - Joe went to MSU in Missoula, MT. Small world, dad's family homesteaded out there late 1890s... Got to talk "old times" for a bit...

Enjoy all - will be talking soon,

Owen

Owen,

You have had a very busy weekend - and you got the DTH installed too! WOW!

We were out and about this weekend too and two months into our smart experience we continue to enjoy the smiles per mile and thumbs up from other folks and all the questions too.

Happened by the local Toyota dealer this weekend and smart stole the show. All their customers were instantly attracted to the smart magnet! Think Toyota was glad to see us leave.

Have a smart week.

Tom

I had forgotten the fun of bending your wrist in un-natural positions to install that last bolt! Header does make a big difference in low-end torque. Driving with the top down not too noisy - top up I was a little suprised how loud it is. I'll deal... I think Shannon would be putting a piece of tape over the end though!!!

My memory is toast I know - your dog? Chess/Chad/? - started with a "C" I think I do remember!!! Great guard dog certainly!!!

Thanks - talk soon
