Well heres Pics of the progress still in the begining stages of the Prototype Smart 4-2 Cabrio

Theme:Futuristic

Insight of Smart Project:
Well the goal is to create a futuristic theme that is state of the art or that will give the illusion of it being ahead of its time simular to concept cars. Everything from ICE to the exterior stance of the SMART CAR and yes the engine too will be revamped. I will say it is not final but there are thoughts of going widebody and even having a flat panel LCD screen raise out from the top when the convertible is down or possibly out the rear tail gate. To top the icing on the cake I plan to have a built in computer with a custom fabricated hide-away compartment where you can access the NET via Wifi or aircard from any location in the city whilde driving or at a standstill. (Hint Hint Tony can your shop fab me something)
Also as many have seen my previous project the 03 Yellow Evo8 show car...welll I will say that the SMART will out SMART and show my previous Evo8 when complete. Well stay tuned as more insight of Marlon's Prototype WB Smart ForTwo Cabrio is uploaded including pics as it is avalible.

Well the intake arrived and is now installed. It was a fairly easy install just removed a few bolts, removed the OEM air box and filter, then I assembled the intake out of the box including the heat sheild. After I made a few adjustments with the provided brackets and I was done.
Then I figured well let me take it for a spin. I was impressed for I was able to feel a noticeable difference. It seems to pick up speed smoother with a nice deep aggressive sound. The intake is not too loud when getting on it but produces just enough grunt to let you know its there. At highway speed I feel the most gain and performance of course this is due to the fact there's more air flow coming in from the side air induction.

Well as you will see from the dyno stats in the link

**Additional 8 HP at 5,000 RPM's

**Quicker Response from Start

**Increased Performance from both low and high RPM's

**Increased Gas Mileage (not visible on dyno ofcourse) but I have been getting just a tad bit more MPG when driving conservative. From factory the Smart gets 41 MPG HWY and so far I am getting an estimated 43-44 MPG HWY.(I will beable to get more accurate results with a full tank test on the HWY and one in the City.) I don't expect a drastic improvement in MPG but every little adds up..lol

I was not 100% content with the Silver Star Ultra 4100K. They output excellent light so much that people keep flashing me thinking my highbeams are on. (It became frustrating)

Well so I went with what my heart felt... The Luminics Pure Blue 6000K.
As you can see in the pic they do have a hint of blue tint but its not overkill. The lighting is just right and I still can see well even on the darkest streets.

*IMO they are a great tastefull set up a knotch below HID's that still produces great output at

S-Mann Rear Defuser / Skirt / Spoiler. ((IN TRANSIT))

I will post pics later today after lunch. I am 100% complete with installing the cold air intake side scoop and I am about 90% complete installing the Smann Side Skirts.
