Overview of meet:
The meets was great for all those who missed it here is a brief overview on how everything went. I arrived there at about 12:15 and to my suprise the Varisty was PACKED or should I say LOADED with people. Im guessing there must have been a college game or something going on. Well at went ahead and parked on the top deck in the corner spot to wait for other Ga SCOA members to arrive. Shorty after I see Broberts roll in with his clean looking silver cabrio. Me and him chatted for a bit and as soon as we got to talking. Kids and adults at the Varsity came up to us and started talking and asking us 20/20 questions. We was loving the attention since we had to kill time anyways. Wll the people packed in the Varsity had their eyes glued at the 2 Smarts in the lot. Then Smart100 rolled in with his silve/silver cabrio smart. Then at soon after Bruzr came out to the meet again to hang with is in his Blue Smart.
We walkin into the Varsity grabbed a table but shortly after realizing how flooded the Varsity was we decided to cruise on down to Lindbergh Plaza to grab a bite to eat. As we cruised in line on the free way people was in awe as they saw 4 very rare cars all at once. (We looked as if we was on the ITALIAN JOB in formation)
So me 2micro4u and the others all decided to go to "Tin Drum" and Asian cuisine place to eat. The food in my opinion was great and by the looks of everyone elses faces they liked it too. So we then had a few laughs and shared our stories with our smart .
We did talk about SMART CENTER OF BUCKEAD hosting a meet for us in January. It will be the 2nd or 4th week. (More details to come).
After we all then had a little mini photo shoot of our smarts and then decided to cruise to SMART CENTER OF BUCKHEAD. We stopped by there and said hello to Eric, Victoria, and Loni. While there Victoria help BRoberts out and showed us all how we can hear our portable GPS units by utilizing the I-Pod Plug in the Smart. It sounded great by the way. The dealership was alittle busy with lots of deliveries taken place. We did see a Mercedes Truck that was TWICE the size as a Hummer H2. I was the size of an average Monster truck. I believe that owner of it came to pick up a smart as well. His truck was so big it could easily fit a smart in the Bed of it. Then as the evening got late and 2 hours later every one else had to take off and me and BRoberts went up the street and took a look at the EXOTIC GREEN Sema Smart that was being showcased at Classic Collision in Buckhead. That car is AMAZING in person. The pics do not do its justice. The paint is flawless it has performace mods done to it and even the interior has a unique innovative style to it.
After talking to the shop and asking questions regarding painting other smarts etc.. we took of home.
**Please say a prayer for KarenS dog for Karen could not make the meet but the dog in her family is very ill. If we can pray for a speedy and healthy recovery.
