I want to have a Smart Car shipped to Hawaii. Where can I have it serviced? I'm especially concerned about items under warranty since we have no SmartCenters here yet!

A mercedes Dealership may be your next best option. Call Smart USA and get something in writing saying your nearest dealership is officially the one closest to you.

I just met a guy on maui with a 2008 and he took his smart in for his first 10,000 mile service to Bobs Car Care in Lahaina... Mark said they did a great job.. sure he had to ship filter and such in but that is easy.. come on live a little.. These cars are fairly easy to work on... Not to sure which island your on.

I have owned my Passion since August, and I love it!! I had to buy it in NY and have it shipped to HI because there are no dealers here. I have 1500 miles on it, no problems, but I know I'll need an oil change pretty soon, and there is no service here. I'd love to hear from the three or four Smart owners here in Paradise, but I haven't seen any others (just sightings by friends and colleagues).

My Passion Cabrio arrived in Honolulu today (from Denver). I had the car serviced in Denver before shipping and brought along replacement parts with the car. I thought I'd try to befriend the Mercedes dealer as well. Maybe they will be interested when there are more of us on Oahu. I have a blue cabrio and hangout in the downtown area so perhaps you'll spot me zipping around town soon.

If you were driving down King St one evening last week I saw you. I had to do a double take as I didn't know I had a twin so close by.

Aloha Smart owners,I have 09 Brabus cabrio. which i brought in fro cali before christmas. its just a fun car for me. as for warranty, i think thats all voided since we dont have dealership here, although i purchased a GM Protection Plan called Major Guard for $800 from the dealership in cali.
as for servicing, i'll worry about it when that time comes or just get online there's all kind a videos that will you to DIY..........
