Iowa's First Rally "A Tour of Central Iowa"

Here is the plan for the first Iowa and surrounding areas rally.

It is scheduled for Sunday Sept 28th. Meet at 11am.

What we can plan to do is start in Ames, IA (~30 miles north of Des Moines on 35) We will meet at Brookside Park for awhile to meet n' greet. Below is a link for a map of the park's location:

After awhile we can hop in out Smarts and drive down to Ankeny, IA. It is around 20 miles to Ankeny from Ames.

Once we arrive in Ankeny, we can have lunch at the Sonic Drive in Restaurant. There we can eat and show off our smarts to others. Also chat and enjoy the afternoon.




Once we are done eating lunch at Sonic, we are going to head down to Des Moines and visit the capital. There we can get out and get our big group photo!!!

That's the idea for the rally, please RSVP here if you would like to attend so I can get a count to notify Sonic before we arrive.

I've got family functions this weekend so I won't be able to attend. I do want to get a bunch of "smarties" together.

Jeff i have great news!
My dad is going to be on a trip with some of his friends from the fire department (he's a firefighter for St. Paul if you didnt know that)
So i might be able to take the Smart ALL THE WAY DOWN TO IOWA MYSELF!
Or i might take one of my friends along for the ride!
I dont know for sure yet but i will definetely let you know the details later!
