I think it is called 'clear window decal'. I found some at Discount Cartridge; clear window decal paper. I will look for other sites that might have it. Here are Froogle results using 'clear window decal paper' . Here is the Froogle results ordered from lowest to highest price.

You can also Google "static cling inkjet" and get a bunch of vendors selling window static material for use in your inkjet printer. I have my doubts, though, whether this would work on the outside of a car - the wind would tend to lift and remove them, I think. But it's worth a try.

how about using the same material used for those holiday window decals? you can buy material like that from AC Moore or any craft store...you spray it with water and then the static take over. who knows?:woohoo

Perhaps if one prints it in reverse and use it on the inside of the window? I have received something similar from a couple of charities and they stick on the inside of the window.

I will do a search using 'static cling inkjet'. Thank you for the information.

We offer a product that is a low tac adhesive used for wall art. You can at least do the doors and the bonnet like that.

My barrowed smart will be coming back into the shop again next week so I can finish making templates. I have one for the doors right now.

Also just getting a wrap done on the panels in a normal 3m wrap material would work just fine. The material is made to be cleanly removed with in 4 years.

No wrap is ever permanent.

I put some window clings on Lilly on Sunday ... today is Tuesday and they are all still there. I really didn't expect them to stay this long, if they make it through Saturday I'll go out and buy some shamrocks for St. Patty's day. Then some bunnies and stuff for Easter.... oh I love this car.
