Help! I am at a shop, having my OE cruise control added, and the TAN code I got from you a couple weeks ago had expired! I am told they are good for only 3-5 days. Can you send me a new one? My VIN # is WMEAJ00FX6J281833. Thanks!

I started with an aluminum motorcycle rim machined up a new center with 6 spokes, cut the motorcycle center out and tig'd in the new hub...As they say, more than one way to skin a cat...

That's fine, no need to appologize. They are around. It'll take some time to gather the pieces. Just listed a bunch of non smart stuff on Ebay to generate some funds.

Hi Ron, The rear drum is separate from the internal splined bearing unit.. The bearing unit has the seal. What you are wanting to do will work...

thank you for checking up on me =P yeah i'm fairly young. i feel a lot older now, physically, because of the stress. i removed my first post, and did ask that the mods remove it. i haven't gotten a chance to check but i guess they did. things happen that we can't control and whether or not it was my fault, i AM happier now that i've gotten away and am free and can just breathe. i appreciate your input and viewpoints though, i do. life is a crazy thing.

Oh yeah, after I bought my Kia (and found out it has a bit of underlying problems) I taught myself to do as much (free) research I could on a car I'm considering...

I love those seats in that car AND it's fully loaded...just that history... o_O

And it's only $5k? It's been written off and rebuilt then crashed again...I'm not sure if I'd want to go for it...

    Your URL tag failed :D

Holy cow, that thing has a wretched history. It's been wrecked and written off in one state (CA) and got a Salvage title, then it was moved to Indiana and registered with a Rebuild title. Then it was wrecked AGAIN! The AutoCheck also claims there are still payments on it (also indicates it's on a lease).

I'd rather pass than buy something that could be potentially a lemon...You know what they say, once a car gets wrecked and rebuilt, it's never the same...
