Smart Mitsubishi iMiEV

Mitsubishi has been researching their iMiEV since 2005. The four-door Mitsubishi iMiEV can travel over 80 miles on a full charge. The iMiEV is smaller than a subcompact, about the size of a four-door Smart car.

Toyota Unveils Smart New City Car

It was designed in southern France by Toyota's design studio. The design is intended to place emphasis on low fuel consumption, maneuverability and environmental friendliness.

Israel Embraces of the Electric Car

Israeli government becomes the electric car's biggest supporter. Early this year the Israeli Cabinet agreed to tax new vehicles on their emissions levels. Allowing biggest tax breaks to go to zero-emissions cars. While a 7-cent a gallon tax break for E85 was allowed to expire without action from the Michigan state legislature. With Michigan's financial situation they won't be in any hurry to restore the tax break.

Martin Eberhard, the CEO of Tesla Motors would be bored out of his mind and out of business with a $99.00 deposit. His required deposit for the Tesla Roadsters was a slick $100,000 which guaranteed those lucky 100 folks, one of the first Roadsters off his production line in 2007.
