Travel Supreme folks say their mid-engine motor home can carry a Mercedes Smart Car and no other car is recommended. A 2007 Mini Cooper weighs over 2,600 lbs while a Mercedes Smart Car weighs 1,588 lbs and is only 8 feet long and 5 feet wide.

eMotion Mobility's Smart Gliders

In 2000 officials from the State of Georgia joined up with eMotion Mobility, then a unit of the DC Corporation and announced plans to develop an electric-powered version of the Smart City Coupe. Founded by Donald Panoz and funded by the DaimlerChysler Corporation, eMotion Mobility set out to create the first car-sharing program in the US based on an electric car.

Several years ago the Tom Tailor clothing company dressed out a special edition Smart Fortwo Cabriolet for the TRIBUTE TO BAMBI charity. The car was a Smart Fortwo Cabriolet, came with a 101HP engine and was auctioned off on EBay. It had special paint and gold leaf.
