The first Smart car with four doors was called the Smart ForFour and was introduced in 2003.
The Smart Forfour was introduced to the media in Zürich, Switzerland, on "ForFour Day," June 26, 2003. Unlike the little "brother," this was a more conventional car, a real hatchback super-mini with a roomy interior with a four- or five-seat configuration.
