Daimler Chrysler's Smart ForTwo “Edition Red” phases out the previous Fortwo's, that have paved the way for the innovative, much improved and much safer Smart Fortwo . Production on the exiting Smart Fortwo model has concluded.

105,100 Smarts were sold from January to November. Virtually all Smart Fortwo vehicles of the first generation are sold out. Deliveries for the all new Smart Fortwo will begin in April 2007 in Europe.
Since January 2004, the smart city-coupe and smart cabriolet have been called smart fortwo coupe and smart fortwo cabriolet, the name is lowercased, in MCC smart custom.
The Smart City Coupe has undergone several transformations. These include improved handling and performance, a newly redeveloped engine, extra safety features and a fuller range of standard features.

We have test driven the entire Smart car line (pure, pulse, and passion ) the Smart Roadster and Roadster Coupe, the Crossblade and the new hot For-Two Brabus. We've also examined various other unusual and alternative vehicles, some smart and some not so smart.
Now the newest successor to the Smart Fortwo will be on sale in Europe in less than 6 months and DaimlerChrysler will be selling the Smart car in the United States!
The new 2008 Fortwo will be extended by 7 inches and weight will increase slightly.
The Smart's headlights will be larger and more aerodynamic, tail lights will be restructured, improved horse power, enhanced gas mileage, superior safety features, additional color alternatives and added standard and optional equipment will be available. The new Smart will be embracing the Brabus appearance.
The Smarts windshield angle will be modified for new protection of pedestrian’s standards.
