When towing a Smart Car, most motor home drivers say they can't really tell they are towing at all.
The Smart Car can be put in neutral with the steering lock off and towed using one of the many available trailers.
With a curb weight of less than 1609 lbs, an extra braking system is not required.
They are now available in Canada and soon to be sold in the United States.
The Smart Car; with engine and transmission in the rear would typically be reversed on to a conventional car trailer. With the soon to be available ForTow trailers, the Smart car can be driven straight on.
Because these trailers are specifically designed for the Smart car it retains perfect weight distribution.
The RV market in the US; for both the ForTwo and the ForTow trailer will be huge.
