Internet Brands managed and performed all online marketing and promotions in connection with the smart fortwo for smart USA. Internet Brands processed all reservation fees and started collecting the $99 fee back in April of 2007.
Smart USA (Internet Brands) was to contact all reservation holders, in the sequence their reservation was submitted and re-confirm their reservations.
Unfortunately, this did not always transpire, for various reasons, causing some confusion and cancellations. So many early reservation holders are now requesting refunds.
