Seat Covers

I want to buy some seat covers for my Smart. Anyone bought "Wet Akole" seat covers. If so how hard were they to install. They are neoprene and really great but unfortunately expensive.

There was a member here called "Rigger" that had Wet Akole covers on his car. He has not been active in a while, but he used to travel the country in his smart doing stage work for traveling Broadway productions. You can try looking for some of his older posts about the covers. They must have worked well for him, because he drove many miles between shows and almost lived out of his car for days at a time. Good luck with finding what you need.

I had the Wet Akole seat covers on my 2006 cdi.
They were easy to install and, I used to wash them
in place because they were waterproof!

Neither of those are seat airbag compatible, which would be a deal-breaker for many.

Those are so inexpensive I am afraid they wouldn't hold up at all but thanks for posting.

Try this..

Dash Designs seat covers, with or without armrest...

https://www.dashdesigns.com/i-266949...nt-bucket.html

Now go to RockAuto, and find the same seat cover, for around 1/3 less...

I have used Wet Okole seat covers on several of my vehicles. They are a great product and fairly easy to install. They provide lots of protection to your factory seats and are water proof. I highly recommend them, although they are a little pricey. They are side airbag compliant.
