Dang – sorry about your poor little smart. Sad, indeed.

If totaled, remember that there are two brand-new 2015 EDs not far from you... at a good price.

My 86 year old dad was driving. Seems like minor injuries to the front left and back of his head, and a bump on the left leg, but was sent to the ER. Good news is he seems good enough may come home today, (total 1 day and some hours in the hospital if so.)

The SUV was able to continue on it's way.

Thank you guys for the concern!

My dad is home. The subdural hematoma has stayed the same size/is stable, so he's good to go. Thank you!

I put a lot of money into accessories back then when I had more discretionary cash, so I do hope they find it is still financially reasonable to fix it.

My family seems split on whether the smart protected him enough, as opposed to something larger I guess.

My adjuster noted the other party got an attorney. Said the person may have gotten injured.

Sigh....

It's being transferred to another location, again, (second time). Hopefully no more of this. I'm missing out on parts and possibly a 453 if they do total it. Need a special jig to complete the estimate.

If the other side has an attorney, let your insurance company deal with it - they may be just being aggressive since an older person was injured.

The adjuster said I don't have to when I asked him if we should find one. That's good news for me, I know they can be very expensive...

Smart should be moved by tomorrow morning. I hope by afternoon I'll have a definitive answer....
