Hello Everybody,
I'm Moritz from Stuttgart, Germany. Some of you might already know me because of my worldwide Facebook Smart Electric Drive Owner's Group. (Hi @emailchrishall )
I've got a 2013 smart ED3 (3th gen) with the 3,7kW charger and a 2018 smart ED4 (4th gen) with the 22kW charger. As I am a huge fan of the smart electric drive, my old smart ED already got over 200.000km (125.00mi).
And, as you might already guessed, I'm the owner of the EQpassion.de-page. There's about everything listed you need to know about the electric smart models. Starting from the the four generations there are already, over buying advices to the FAQ and all the EV basics, there is everything at one place.
I'm in this forum to check out what you guys are up to as I already noticed in the Facebook group that it's a whole other story driving a smart ED in the USA than in Europe. For example: Here in Europe it's uncommon to just skip the service, but it sounds like it's not that uncommon in America dou to the longs distances. That's also the reason why I've listed how you can reset it yourself in my FAQ. (smart ED3 & smart ED4).
I've also got my first question:
How do you guys know if somebody is asking something for his smart ED3 or about his smart ED4? As they are completely different, we've created two parts in the German forum.
Thank's for beeing part of this awesome community
Reguards,
Moritz
