Question My first Smart 2013 fortwo passion

Looking forward to the forums and seeing others helpful posts. Just got my first smart car...never owned one. I am sort of going through buyers remorse phase due to the fact that they are no longer sold in the USA. 2013 fortwo passion with 50k miles and seems in perfect condition. Hopefully no surprises. Loving it so far. I am one who takes good care of my vehicles both maintence wise and keeping clean. Anyone have any good day to day or long term advice? I am in Austin, TX where we battle the heat and sun. Thanks.

Spray lube on all the chassis pivot points to free up the suspension.

This thread has a lot of info.

You have a 451 model which stopped being produced in 2016. And in all likely hood you are not under any factory warranty so sell you smart right now to the frist person you can if you can only own a in production car and go to a new car dealer to make a less remorseful purchase. while you Smart can be enjoyed elsewhere.

Or sit back with your recently picked up used car and learn about it, figure out its kinks and work on your relationship with it as you learn to drive it. Smarts are super fun but people love them or they don't. At this point in time there are some exceptional used cars on the market o fit anyone's taste and budget so no need having a car that gives any remorse at all.

Thanks for the info in keeping the chasis pivot points lubed. Definitely not selling it. It's fun to drive looks immaculate and perfect for my downtown area. Only had a few days and just nervous about maintenance. I want to find a mechanic well versed with these cars. I did get a recommendation and was confirmed that the guy only works on Mercedes and smart cars. Thanks again.
