Exclamation New noises from heat/ac fan

As the weather gets colder, I am experiencing a 30 second squeal from my fan when I turn it on. After 30 seconds or so it silences. I am planning a trip to the dealership to have it checked out. I feel like it is not something serious and wonder if I can get at the fan to see what it could possibly be. Anyone else have this issue? I have 2009 Passion for two coupe. Please let me know if you have and what it ended up being.

How cold is it when you're experiencing this?

Last year I had a similar noise several mornings when it was hovering around 0 Fahrenheit. No permanent issue, just a brief squeal until it warned up slightly. If I recall, increasing the fan speed helped.

This was on my 2012 with approximately 20,000 miles and the fan isn't used excessively. Also changed the cabin filter with OEM replacement at recommended interval.

I wouldn't worry or bother taking it to the dealer unless it becomes frequent.

Weird, I noticed a similar noise last week. It even happened when I started it up in the garage, which is insulated and had a temperature of around 35-40 degrees (F).
