Will adding a bike rack void smart ED warranty/lease?

Hello all,
New to the forum and looking to put a bike rack.
Will doing this void the warranty on the smart electric? I am currently leasing it will it affect my lease?

The rep said she thinks it will be ok but she is not sure. And the person that handles lease returns won't be back for another week.

You can always call the 800 number and ask smart USA. Should be OK on the warranty as smart offers their own bike rack. The lease is another matter, just depends on what the fine print says.

I wanna do it on my own. Iam wondering if I can just leave the bolts were I the frilled holes would be.

Sorry fat fingers for this phone. I am wondering if when I turn in my lease I can just plug in the holes with something. Or just leave bolts in there. The rep at mercedes said anything that adds value is ok, but to check with the lease return person.
