A few pics:
The weather started in a threatening way.
I found a great North Carolina water slide...I will try it next visit...if I have time.
Made a few runs on the Dragon.
Managed to get wrapped 4 times.
And even found a "smart" pharmacy.

We ran the Dragon a few more times in the sunshine
Stopped at some scenic overlooks
Put Outsmarting the Dragon static clings on our cars
Gave out some awards
And even had Dora and George along for breakfast on Sunday.

Sorry about the sideways pictures????? On my computer they are upright!

I want to thank you and yours for a marvelous time. Hope to be home this afternoon.

I searched everywhere for a sticker or cling or such like yours, including Deals Gap, to commemorate my trip, riding the Dragon in both the dry and the wet, with no luck.

Any idea where I might obtain one by mail? Happy to send a check.

Tks much for all the hard work,

Hi Jim,
If you were at the banquet on Saturday night you should have gotten one of the static clings. If not, please pm me with your address and I can mail one to you. The same goes for anyone else who was not at the banquet but attended OTD so I can send one to you.
No check is needed as I purchased the clings and made the awards for the car show and rallye with the $ that I didn't have to spend on a room at Fontana as Wallace was sharing his room. For that reason I consider Wallace and Tyson's Corner smart Center a sponsor of OTD. I still have a few of the clings left over so anyone else that didn't get theirs please let me know.

I'm thinking it might have had more to do with a feeling of reciprocation?

I caught Kevin doing a job on the Bee as I was packing up award stuff at the end of the banquet. And to think that there were at least more than 20 OTD bystanders watching without coming to the aid of my poor little Bee! They were even encouraging and helping Kevin!

I was wrapped one time by a fellow wrapper while we were wrapping other cars on Friday night.
The Bee was hit with a very heavy wrap during Saturday night which was removed when I got up at 4 am to catch a certain someone that I knew might wrap the Bee as he did last year on his way out of town.
And catch him red handed...I did...and he had to change his shorts before leaving. I only regret not having my phone with me to take the picture of him in the act . I won't say who it was but he left a smiling Minion sticker on the back window. (After driving the Dragon in the rain on the way home it now looks like it is screaming.)

There were other vandals out there who placed a "Hello Kitty" stickers on the Bee which I was told was on the car without me seeing it all day Saturday for the rally and the car show. Another Kitty showed up under the wrap job during the night.

The poor little innocent Bee's feelings are hurt with all of the abuse that was aimed at it and dished out in Fontana. .... !
And to think...this is all Jet Fuel's fault!....(Even though he was only there in spirit!)

In defense of Jet, he did not start this "tradition". The Kitty stickers made the Bee extra pretty I think.

Well, in a way he did start it. He was the first to be honored in such a manner, at OSDII, five years ago.

Photo posted by briansmart, who also took the OSD icon below THIS image ...

I'm not sure who took the below (briansmart?) of Jet wielding my pocket knife.

One of my favorite Dragon photos, by briansmart, from OSDI in 2009.
Wish I had it in HiRes.
