As Huronlad/NCC1701 suggest, jetfuel did not "start" the tradition but I believe he may have been the first OTD recipient of a high quality wrap done by good friends . . .

What happens at OTD, stays at OTD . . .

No check is needed as I purchased the clings and made the awards for the car show and rallye with the $ that I didn't have to spend on a room at Fontana as Wallace was sharing his room. For that reason I consider Wallace and Tyson's Corner smart Center a sponsor of OTD. I still have a few of the clings left over so anyone else that didn't get theirs please let me know.

Mick. Great! I was ill Sat. nite, so I missed the banquet. PM

Our idyllic mountain retreat was invaded by one or more serial wrappists!

...OK you amateurs....let's get the facts straight....believe it or not... The original master wrappers were Krusty ( southern most car club) Briansmart ( Hotlanta ) and Turbo 42....and to make things a little better the wrap used that crazy night wasn't even bought....it was donated by the kitchen staff of Fontana....

Jetfuel....know you know......
.....how it hurt not being there......

You know, since they won't give us the forfour, maybe this is an option . . . but maybe not!
We could have saved on fuel if we left them wrapped!

"Back in the day," Dad told me 😉 of Figure 8 Chain Races.

Maybe next year's OTD could have a new event - "2+2 smart wrapped Dragon runs" with jetfuel as the tow smart?"

I know the shrink wrap stretches but not quite from Michigan to Florida!

Well after a gentle 3day drive we are back at home in Montreal. Thanks to all who helped makes this a great trip.
After everyone left from Lynn's Place on Sunday we drove via the dragon to Cade's Cove again. We returned via the Parsons Branch Rd. This is an 8 mile single file road that exits halfway along the Dragon. If you were videoing the run you will see a forest road with 2 "NO ENTRY" signs at one of the sharp turns and the is the exit! First gear most of the way dodging potholes and fording streams. We caught up to a jeep and then followed him for the rest of the way. So for those of you who feel the Dragon is just not enough. Try the Parson next year! This is the second time Granny Smith has done it so don't be shy, give it a try!
I'll try to post some photos later.
