Cranking after 2.0

My smart just recived the 2.0 update. Do I need to wait a little longer with the key in position 1 before cranking the engine? I think I'm getting more "no start" when I turn the key.

There should be no change there. The car will not start immediately when you turn the key. The computer has to set things up and it will start when it is good and ready. Either wait a second or two before turning the key to start or just turn the key start and wait for the engine to start itself.

I thought it was really weird too when I first started driving my smart. At first I thought there was something wrong.
